PAIR OF INTERESTING RUSSIAN IMPERIAL PORCELAIN TAZZAS. Comprising two tazzas, the largest with bell form base and flared rim bowl. Overall decorated with gold and Greek key banding. The base with ornate crowned intertwined Cyrillic cypher VA, very likely for an early service of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich (son of Tsar Alexander II). The underside with green cypher mark Alexander II. Height 8.25 inches (21cm). Together with another tazza, from the dowry and personal service of Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna, with wide blue and gilt banding and the bowl with her crowned gilt cypher. Height 6.75 inches (17cm).
