RUSSIAN IMPERIAL PORCELAIN PERIOD OF ALEXANDER I. Comprising a bowl and underplate from the Dowry Service of Grand Duchess Ekaterina Pavlovna, Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg. Both are similarly decorated with gilt leaf tip and floral banding. The borders with three oval reserves with architectural scenes rendered in grisaille on a magenta ground. The underplate centered with a gilt flowerhead medallion. The bowl with a blue underglaze mark of Alexander I and the underplate with incised production marks and old exhibition and auction labels. The diameter of bowl 6 Inches (17 cm). Height of bowl 3.25 inches (8.5 cm). Diameter of underplate 7.25 inches (18.5 cm).
