Jackson's is pleased to present the Raymond F. Piper lifetime collection of Imperial Russian Porcelain and related items. Featuring over 325 lots collected over a span of 50 years from all the top dealers, galleries and auction houses worldwide. Mr. Piper’s collection focused primarily on works from the Russian Imperial Porcelain Factory from the time of Empress Elizabeth I (1741-1762) through Tsar Nicholas II (1894-1917). The collection includes many unique and one-of-a-kind items of the type not frequently encountered. The majority of items offered have been exhibited at a vast multitude of museum venues throughout the United States over a 15-year period under the title, At the Tsars Table, and published in an exhibition catalog of the same name.
