VERY FINE PLAINS BEADED CRADLE COVER, 20TH C. Sinew-sewn, tanned buffalo hide. Profusely beaded with geometric patterns on a predominately blue field, lazy-stitch sewn and with padded diamond shaped drops. Most likely Cheyenne, mounted on a traditional tack-decorated carrying board, possibly of a later date. Overall height 37 inches. See front cover.
