ORIGINAL ROCKWELL FOUR FREEDOMS POSTER 1943. Comprising a complete and scarce suite of original war period iconic four-color lithograph posters, The Four Freedoms. Washington, D.C.: U.S. Government Printing Office, 1943. OWI (OFFICE OF WAR) numbers 43, 44, 45, 46. These originally appeared on the covers of The Saturday Evening Post in February and March, 1943, and was inspired by Franklin D. Roosevelt's January 6, 1941 State of the Union speech. Each sheet measuring 28 inches x 20 inches. Each sheet laid on card stock with some visible folds (as issued) and one poster (Freedom From Fear) with BB holes in lower right corner (as shown). Each contained in a glazed wood frame measuring 29.5 inches x 21.5 inches.

John Walker (1744-1809) was a Virginia politician and college classmate of Thomas Jefferson at William and Mary. In very good condition. 2.25 inches x 6.2 inches.
