A VERY FINE CARVED AND POLYCHROME IVORY FIGURE OF KWAN-YIN, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY. The face delicately carved and with naturalistic hair wearing a flowing gown with deeply carved folds and remnants of red and yellow polychrome, blossom from hand absent. Raised on a carved hardwood stand with inlaid silver wire and cloisonné enameled galleries. Total height 13.75 inches (35 cm).
