A CHINESE CARVED IVORY FIGURAL GROUP, CIRCA 1925. Depicting the seated figure of Buddha with flaming mandrola atop an ornately fitted elephant and raised on a bone overlaid plinth with incised dragons and scroll work. Height 17 inches, length 8.75 inches (43.2 x 22.2 cm).
